重点大学 will pay tribute to members of a family who have been loyal supporters of the college for decades by renaming the School of Arts 和 Sciences in their honor.

Dr. 贝蒂·图罗克,海兰帕克,N.J. is a Charles Weston Scholar who graduated from Keystone in 1953.  She is also professor 和 dean emerita at 罗格斯大学, where for 22 years she was a member of the faculty of the School of Communication 和 Information. 整整八年, she was the director of the master’s program 和 chair of the Department of 图书馆 和 Information Science. A longtime member of the 重点大学 校董会, Dr. Turock is the founder 和 chairman of the Turock Family Foundation which supports initiatives in health, 科学研究, 和教育. The organization’s most recent project was a collaboration that created the National Museum of Mathematics in New York City.

He has written numerous articles 和 publications on human cognition 和 holds several patents, most notably the fundamental patent on Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) that carries six of the nine billion calls placed in the world each day.
